Bedside table in painted wood

Pretty sleeper bedside table in white painted wood and touches of yellow details. The somno is a small piece of furniture which forms a table and a cupboard, able to accommodate the chamber pot and thus store it out of sight, serving as a fashionable bedside table at the beginning of the 19th century. Ours is equipped with an interior earthenware storage for reasons of hygiene, the edge has a shine. It is rather rare and unusual to find them in this form, they are often round in shape.
