Gold metal magazine rack

Light, almost airy, this pretty magazine rack from the 60s or 70s made of gilded metal rods will bring a touch of elegance to a living room, a reading corner or a waiting room. The handle is made of bamboo. Its little extra compared to many of its contemporaries is its asymmetrical design which gives it originality and accentuates this airy side, evoking the wings of a butterfly. It is in good general condition: stable, solid, welds intact, no deformation and it still has its original black plastic glides (which is very useful to avoid damaging the parquet floor). But it does not hide some signs of its age: rare small corrosion spots rather localized on the lower horizontal part, hardly visible, and even less so with magazines placed inside. The gilding is faded or a little less flashy in places but the overall impression remains golden. It measures 39.5 cm in length, 20 cm in maximum width, 43 cm in maximum height. The base measures 24 cm by 16 cm.
