Antique brass foot lamp with glass globe and diamond point.

Antique large lamp with a gilded bronze base in Louis XV style dating from the late 19th century (Napoleon III era) mounted with an antique moulded glass globe "diamond point". The patinated bronze base features rococo-style decoration with twisted and fluted motifs. The spherical glass globe cut with diamond points diffuses faceted light. Excellent condition. The bronze retains its original patina, and the glass globe has no chips or cracks. The electrical wiring has been redone for safe use. The original B22 bayonet socket has been replaced with an old brass and porcelain E14 socket for easier use - bulb not included.
