Moroccan lantern in stained glass

Superb spherical Moroccan lantern dating from the late 1960s / early 1970s, in the Mid-Century and chic bohemian spirit. A true piece of ancient oriental craftsmanship, it stands out for its dinanderie metal structure with a beautiful period patina and its numerous stained glass medallions in vibrant colours (amber, prairie green, ruby red, cobalt blue, and saffron yellow). Each element is adorned with delicately embossed retro floral and geometric patterns. With a harmonious size of 20 cm in height and 20 cm in diameter, it features a hinged top flap allowing for the placement of a tea light or adaptation for electric suspension, as well as a fixing ring. Once lit, it diffuses beautiful colourful light patterns and textured motifs on the walls, creating a warm and refined atmosphere. In very good condition for its age, with intact glass, no cracks or missing parts, and functional closure. An authentic decorative piece full of charm.
