sz08/Osaka 1 lounge chair by Martin Visser for 't Spectrum, The Netherlands 1969

This model sz-08 lounge chair was designed by martin visser for 't spectrum in 1969 (collection 1969-1974). It is part of the osaka series that was exhibited at the world fair in japan (osaka) in 1972. This single chair is therefore also know as model osaka 1. The chair has a metal frame with cushion seating that gives great comfort. All in a good condition, with signs of age and use. The upholstery has been redone some time ago, by its former owner, with a very nice fabric by de ploeg. It does still look good but will show some signs of age and use. We also have a matching 3-seater sofa available, know as sz12 or osaka 3.
