Art Deco Tall Narrow Oak Mirror with Moulded Frame, Belgium, 1920

A tall and slender Art Deco wall mirror from Belgium, made around 1920. The rectangular glass is set in a deep moulded oak frame with a warm red-brown finish that brings out the lively grain of the wood. The narrow proportions make this mirror an easy fit for a hallway, between two windows or next to a door, where it adds height and light without taking up space. A sober, well-made piece of Belgian Art Deco woodwork with a timeless look. Condition: light wear on the edges of the frame, consistent with age and use.
