Ceramic Elephant Plant Holder

Here's a beautiful ceramic elephant, a nice size, but not the largest model: a good compromise if you want an elephant but don't have a lot of space to give it. But if you've fallen in love with these elephants, take a look at my shop here; I offer several in all sizes. This one is a small plant holder, but it could also easily be displayed as a decorative piece in its own right. It has pretty colors, with its trunk raised, a sign of luck and good luck. The important aesthetic detail (for me, at least): it's on its feet and not on a base. I can't say why, but I prefer these models. It seems to have a signature under the base. This is a handcrafted work, at least for the glazing and the many different carvings and colorings. It dates from the 1960s. It is in good condition, which is quite rare for these ceramics: no cracks, no major losses, just a small chip (or original defect?) which seems to have been hidden under paint, but it is very barely visible. The other small "defects" (small losses of enamel), perfectly understandable on this type of piece, all seem original to me. I cleaned it carefully, using a brush in all the small reliefs. It measures 28 cm in height, 34 cm in length and approximately 15 cm in width.
