Elegant pair of column candlesticks, Empire/neoclassical style, copper and brass, the dark patina highlights warmer, coppery reflections. The shaft takes the form of an entirely fluted antique column, the round base is adorned with geometric patterns and friezes typical of this period (reminiscent of palmettes or stylised leaves).
