Elegant Louis-Philippe period nightstand, made around 1830-1845, in flame mahogany veneer. Its cylindrical shape, simple and harmonious, is topped with a veined grey marble surface that highlights the richness of the wood. The curved door opens to a storage space consisting of two levels, ideal as a bedside table, accent piece, or end table. The clean lines and balanced volumes are characteristic of bourgeois furniture from the first half of the 19th century. Beautiful old patina, with some signs of use in line with its age. The door knob appears to have been replaced during its lifetime. Two small old restorations, see photos. A timeless piece that fits well in both classic and contemporary interiors. Period: Louis-Philippe, around 1830-1845. Materials: mahogany veneer, Saint Anne grey marble. Condition: very good overall condition and beautiful patina.
