Wooden and metal sideboard by tecno

Sideboard in wood and metal by tecno. Brand: tecno. Creator: Fulgenzio and Osvaldo Borsani. Style: minimalist. Dimensions: 168 X 48.5 X 73cm high. Good condition with some traces of use over time. Brand History: Tecno's first factory-made collection features sofas, chairs and tables. It was received with enthusiasm at the tenth Milan triennale in 1954. The simple and adjustable d70 sofa bed (1954) received the honorable mention, and Osvaldo Borsani (son of the cabinetmaker and upholsterer Gaetano Borsani (1886-1955)) patented the model. Tecno's next success was the p40 lounge (1956), an adjustable and reclining armchair with an included footrest. These two tecno products have become symbols of the golden age of Italian modernist design.
