For sale is a large vintage secretary/bookcase from the 1960s-1970s. Ideal for a Mid-century modern or Scandinavian style interior. It consists of three distinct parts: 1. Upper part: A large open shelf for books or decoration. 2. Central part (Secretary): A drop-down that transforms into a work surface (desk). The interior is compartmentalised into small cubbies for storing mail or stationery. Key provided and functional lock. The drop-down shelf is clean. 3. Lower part: A cupboard closed by two doors with integrated round handles, offering ample storage space. The piece is in good structural condition and solid. The drop-down mechanism works perfectly. Dimensions: Height: 180 cm. Width: 85 cm. Depth: 45 cm. Condition: The furniture is in its original state. It shows normal signs of wear on the wood (small scratches, slight discolouration) that add to its vintage charm. Note: the decorative covering (marble effect) of the two lower interior shelves is damaged/torn. The back of the shelves remains solid.
