Pair of vintage ceramic cockatoo parrots – 40 cm

Charming pair of ceramic parrot cockatoos in polychrome glaze, with vibrant colours and sculptural silhouettes. Their exotic decor and impressive height of 40 cm make them character pieces, ideal for adding a whimsical and refined touch to an interior. Their shades of yellow, green, pink, and blue evoke the world of vintage decorative ceramics and eclectic interiors. They will naturally find their place on a console, a bookshelf, or in a conservatory. Each piece measures approximately 40 cm in height. Model number engraved: 468/1. One is in perfect condition, the other has a hairline crack. The shape, bright colours, and glazed finish of your two cockatoos evoke certain decorative productions from 20th-century Europe, particularly Italian, but their origin remains to be confirmed.
