Vintage 50-piece cutlery set – Louis XV / Rocaille / Art Nouveau style – Italian made, hallmarked silver-plated metal. Consisting of: 12 forks (20 cm) 12 large spoons (20 cm) 12 serrated knives (22.5 cm) 11 small dessert spoons (12.9 cm) 1 large cream spoon & 1 large fork (25.5 cm) Period: late 19th – early 20th century. Total weight with box: approx. 3.68 kg (cutlery alone: 2.935 kg) Box: cardboard, velvet & satin fabric (48 X 32.5 X 6.5 cm) Condition: good vintage condition with minimal signs of use. One small spoon is missing, ladle has been replaced. Original box is worn (rust, hinge is loose, slight tears). Care: rinse with hot water before first use. Hand cleaning recommended.
