1980s Experimental chair by Melle Hammer from the Netherlands

A lovely dining / side chair, designed by melle hammer and manufactured in the netherlands in 1981. This experimental design is made of blue metal with a plywooden seat and back. The rectangular shapes of the base are visible through openings in the folded seat and back. This creates a lovely appeal and the contrast between the blue metal and light brown wood is really nice! An eye-catching piece that will be a fantastic addition to the decor. Signed underneath the seat. Part of an extremely limited edition, only 4 of these chairs have been produced! Sold individually. The price is per chair. Each chair remains in good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
