Burnt wood finish table / shou-sugi-ban

Dining table, desk or console table in a hall or kitchen. Antique piece of wood, burnt wood finish using the Japanese shou-sugi-ban technique, with a surface treatment to stabilize the carbonization, no black marks to the touch. Wooden top and legs showing some signs of wear, time, piece in a wabi-sabi spirit (some metal parts on the top - see photo). Foldable legs in the top. Each piece is unique and different. 2 pieces are available.
