Sandstone candle holder Sylvain Hublet

I propose you this superb candlestick with face in stoneware faces made by sylvain hublet designer (belgium -boulioux), 1905 - 1988. This art object is in an exceptional state including a hue and patina with metallic reflections. It has a very harmonious balance of its overall shape and bears its signature crossed out, characteristic on the underside (shublet) as well as the following identification number: (20 a) Dimension: Height: 16 cm. Width: 9.5 cm. Diameter: 8.5 cm. Weight: 1 kg. Sylvain hublet was a belgian master potter based in the belgian ardennes in mont-sur-marchienne. His workshop was in val d'heure. Hublet was employed from 1905 to 1988. Most of his works date from after 1930 and have obvious art deco influences.
