Italian Space Age extendable round table, 60s/70s

Magnificent Italian table circa 1970, completely in the space age spirit of that time. This is the larger model, rarer, with the 120 cm diameter top (instead of 100 cm), extendable thanks to its integrated deployable extension, which is presented. The central helix base is in chromed metal for the shaft and polished cast aluminum for the feet. The top and the extension are in blackened ash veneer with a very beautiful brushed aluminum veneer band. We will note the quality of the finish with this same band present on the extension allowing the table to be kept unfolded while preserving the aesthetics. Width from 120 to 155 cm, depth 120 cm, height 76.5 cm including 6 cm band and 2.5 cm top. In perfect condition at the level of the top, we can only note a few micro scratches on the feet without affecting the general aesthetics. Definitely a real designer touch to your dining area to accommodate 4 to 6 guests.
