Foja Barovier & Toso lamp in Murano glass, Italy, 1940

Wonderful Art Deco lamp from the famous Italian house, Barovier et Toso, founded in 1295 in Venice. "Foja" table lamp in Murano glass, from the 1940s, in very good condition. Representing a leaf on a round base, the shapes are all rounded and undulating, the glass is thick and covered with small dots producing a sparkling light effect. Iconic, Italian lamp, charming little bedside lamp, ideal in a bedroom or office. Slight defects in the glass which is "cracked" at the base of the bulb, it is not broken or fragile.
