Creil & Montereau round dish 'Flora' model 31cm

Round dish in fine earthenware decorated with flowers, in shades of blue, from the "flora aux liserons" service from the manufacture de creil & montereau. This service was unveiled to the general public for the first time at the 1855 universal exhibition in paris. Its success made it one of the great classics of the creil & montereau earthenware factory. This numbered and sealed decorative object mixes spring flowers and scrolls, highlighted by a deep blue striped outline. A souvenir of the belle époque, this dish will bring poetry and charm to your interior.
