Wall-mounted coat rack designed by Anna Castelli Ferrieri for Kartell in the 1970s, reflecting the company’s research into the use of plastics for domestic furnishings. The horizontal structure in white plastic incorporates four coat hooks with a distinctive curved profile, together with two sliding hooks positioned below. Each component is reduced to a simple and functional form, with the hooks themselves becoming the graphic element that defines the object. Compact and lightweight, the coat rack reflects Anna Castelli Ferrieri’s design approach, combining function, industrial production and formal quality through a small number of essential elements.
