Vintage Verner Panton Flowerpot VP1 Enamel Hanging Lamp, Danish Design

One of the original Flowerpot vp1 enamel lamps, designed by Verner Panton. Not the new lightweight version; this is the genuine article. Manufactured by Louis Poulsen in the 1960s. An iconic lamp that casts the most beautiful light. One of Verner Panton’s finest and most successful designs ever. Enamel, not aluminium. It is in very good condition, featuring a beautiful blue colour with a contrasting red interior in the bottom cup. It has minimal signs of wear, which is very unusual for these lamps, which almost always have several or larger chips in the enamel. Fitted with a porcelain socket and a new white lead for safety reasons. A bulb is included in the purchase (it has a standard E26/E27 porcelain socket). Will be packed securely and sent with insurance.
