Pair of lamps by Carlo Nason for Mazzega, Murano, Italy, 1970s

Beautiful pair of small compressed glass lamps by Carlo Nason for Mazzega Murano. The pair of lamps is in excellent condition. The shade is made of compressed glass in an intense indigo blue colour, with a touch of transparent colour, and has been shaped to accommodate the lamp holder in a recess in the glass, a stylistic feature often adopted by the designer. Both cables are original, as are the sockets.
