Designed in 2020, in paris, by manon sénal. – Drawing is a moment that reconnects me to my environment and makes me aware of what surrounds me. My favorite subjects are usually moving, lively subjects: a flower that fades in the fall, a woman who enters the water on the beach, the movement of a dress that rises... As a city dweller, I have always considered my environment as "inert". By observing the slices of life animating in the building in front of my home during the confinement, I wanted to take a new look at the buildings around me. I chose a soft stroke with a pen to give energy and movement to the buildings. What I liked about this tool is that there is no going back. Some lines are not straight, it is sometimes necessary to resume the proportions of the drawing along the way without ever being able to erase the initial lines. This suggests all the life that exists in his apartments without being able to see it...
