Pierre Guariche wall shelf set

Conception and design: pierre guariche, joseph andré motte and michel mortier, united within the arp (atelier de recherches plastiques) edition: les huchers - charles minvielle vintage set of 4 elements of wall shelves from the 60s, fully modular according to the space and desire. The modules to be placed as desired, are hooked onto the uprights to be fixed to the walls. The 4 uprights are 194 cm high. This is the minimum ceiling height to have for this set, unless they are cut. The hooks can be placed at any height. Each module has 4 anchor points at the 4 corners. This set which belonged to a couple from the paris region is authentic, typically period and designed by the best french decorators of the “reconstruction” era. It has survived many years and has some minor traces of time, a patina from all these years and shows no breakage, cracks or hidden screws. They consist of: -a large shelf 218 X cm long and 30.5cm deep with 2 sliding doors on the left opening onto cupboards with removable shelves and another open cupboard with a shelf placed in the middle. This element cannot be dismantled, it is difficult to transport and requires some attention during delivery. (top in the main photo) -a small simple shelf with edges of 74 cm and 30.5 cm deep (in the middle in the main photo) trapeze -a box bar with a lock equipped with 2 removable asymmetrical glass shelves placed at the bottom of the cabinet to leave room for storage for the rest of the box. (bottom left in the main photo) -a hinged door box equipped with a removable shelf adjustable in height (bottom right in the main photo) the total width represented by the installation is 220 cm.
