Anna Johanna Angstrom Kilim for Axeco

This is a gorgeous flat weave wool Carpet designed by Anna Johanna Angstrom (Sweden). It is wool on Linen and in very good condition with some minor wear. The carpet has Anna’s initials woven into the rug and has it certification of authenticity attached to the back. The tassels are complete with some minor stains — from light wear. Very high quality and very sought after Scandinavian carpet. Swedish flat weave carpets has increased in popularity over the years. This one has geometric shapes in pastel hues and a beautiful textile design with attention to detail. Hand woven for Axeco of Sweden. Measures 170 x230cm and 177 stitches per cm. It is ready to be loved and for a new home.! Circa 1950’s and is elegant as it is attractive.
