Two bistro chairs signed GLARIS in very good condition, ready to serve. Rare model dated 1920/25. This model was initiated by Thonet as early as 1914/1915 (No. 692) Seat height: 47.5 cm, width: 38 cm, depth: 42 cm. Total height: 88 cm. This model is of 3/4 dimensions, it is neither the small "bistro" model nor the large "dining room" model. Caning in perfect condition. Walnut colour under shellac. These chairs come from the Swiss factory Horgen-Glaris (founded in 1880 by the same Emil Baumann who launched, in France, the activity of the famous Baumann factory in Colombier-Fontaine in Doubs around 1900).
