Set of 4 wooden and leather chairs Maison Regain 1955

Set of 4 brutalist style chairs in solid elm and leather by maison regain, dating from the 1960s. These chairs are the result of french craftsmanship. The solid elm frame is lined with thick brown leather, patinated by time. The uprights and crosspieces are square and identical in section, except for the slightly curved front crosspiece allowing comfortable seating. The seats and backs have beautiful rounded cutouts and are topstitched in cream-colored cotton thread. Structure assembled entirely with exposed wooden dowels. Very good general condition. Nice patina of the leather. Some marks on the wood due to use and time.
