Vase Vallauris 1960s – pleated shape – drip glazes

Ceramic vase from Vallauris, dating from the years 1955–1965, with a drip glaze decoration in deep red, brown/black tones, with bluish nuances. Remarkable feature: Pleated/pinched shape, with deliberately recessed sides on each face, giving a "folded" vase effect. This search for volume, typical of Vallaurian experiments from the late 1950s, creates beautiful light effects and highlights the glaze drips. VALLAURIS stamp visible under the base. Dimensions: – Height: 15 cm. – Diameter at the neck: 11 cm. Condition: Very good overall condition. Note: tiny chips on the upper edge (see photos), with no significant cracks or chips, nor any impact on sturdiness or aesthetics.
