5 deep plates in Sarreguemines faience, model Nicole, decorated with a hand-painted graphic pattern in olive green, saffron yellow, and black. The free design, almost textile, evokes the modernist decorative research of the 1950s and 60s. Each piece shows slight variations in the lines, giving the whole set a lively and artisanal character. The contrast between the taut lines and the slightly patinated ivory background works particularly well. Stamped Sarreguemines. In good vintage condition, with signs of use, varnish crazing, surface marks, variations in patina, and a chip underneath one plate. Diameter 22 cm, height 3.5 cm.
