Mortuary medallion fixed under glass epitaph late 19th century

Mortuary medallion funerary medallion with subject fixed under glass epitaph "to our father" back and rim in sheet iron we found this type of mortuary souvenirs in niches dug within the tomb steles sometimes protected by a porthole serving as a diorama but most often they were simply hung as is, subject to the vagaries of time and weather period late 19th century diameter: 16.5 cm good condition.
