The frame is offered with (wear and lack of edges, everything is visible in the photos) dimensions: 34 / 42 cm, with frame: 40.5 / 48.5 cm gaston édouard joseph guédy was a student of jean-léon gérôme, d 'albert maignan, and jean-baptiste duffaud, he exhibited at the salon from 1895. He became a member of the society of french artists in 1897. He was awarded an honorable mention in 1901, a third class medal in 1906 and a second class medal in 1908, he was then classified hors-concours.
