Elevate your interior with an icon of French design in absolute transparency. This large wheeled side table, attributed to David Lange for the famous collection "Les Invisibles du Marais" (Marais International), is a masterpiece from the Space Age period, circa 1980. Why this piece is essential: Exceptional Material: The Altuglas (Plexiglas) used is of remarkable thickness, ranging from 13 to 15 mm, ensuring high quality, weight, and impeccable sturdiness. Unlike lightweight reproductions, it is very stable and can support heavy loads (vinyl turntable, Hi-Fi amplifier, large flat screen, art books). Clean & Architectural Lines: The minimalist design is characterised by its overhanging top surface, a very practical intermediate shelf, and impeccable hot bending. Its transparency allows light to pass through, visually enlarging the space while adding a chic and timeless touch. Signature Manufacturing Details: The original assembly with recessed brass/gold hardware and the four multi-directional chrome wheels with metal caps are authentic technical signs of the Marais International production of the time. In very good vintage condition! The plexiglass retains all its clarity and shine. It shows minute micro-scratches from use and a discreet patina on the chrome, entirely legitimate and indicative of its authenticity without detracting from its aesthetic.
