Vintage ISIS Schmidt & Haensch Architect's Drafting Table, 1950s - 1960s

I am offering an antique Isis architect's drawing table, 1950s, made in Germany by Schmidt-Haensch. It is in excellent condition, both aesthetically and functionally. It has its original Isis pantograph. It belonged to my father who drew up all his plans on it. Made of very high-quality cast iron, mounted on casters for easy movement, it was repainted a long time ago, in a sea green color that goes very well with the sand-colored pantograph and the raw wood top. This table bears the marks of time that have passed and which have given it all its character. We note the details of the locking handles, painted in blue to match the casters, and the plates on one arm of the pantograph (difficult to read, we can decipher the inscription "adolf sequens" and on a rear upright of the tray (p111). The tray is articulated and can be placed flat or vertically, it can obviously rise and fall to access its entire surface. The pantograph is precise, the handle which controls the rules is in very good condition, the locking system works, it is just necessary to note one end of the rule which has been glued back on. This imposing and majestic piece of furniture can be used as a desk, or will find its place in a study or an architect's office, or in a loft with a vintage industrial style. Dimensions of the drawing tray (without the pantograph): length 150cm, width 100cm (or 110 including the box) Dimensions of the table in the low position: width 150cm, height 160cm (top of the pantograph) Frame dimensions (lever arms removed): width 100cm, height 95cm. It is possible to remove the platform as well as the pantograph and the counterweight to facilitate transport. The total weight must be close to 100 kilos.
