Notice to design enthusiasts, interior architects, and collectors. Selling a magnificent and rare set of 6 bentwood bistro chairs from the prestigious Thonet manufacture (late 19th / early 20th century). This is model No. 56 with reinforcements, a highly structural and sought-after period variant. This set has just undergone a complete and meticulous restoration according to the rules of the art. They are in impeccable condition and ready for use: Joinery and structure: Fully revised, consolidated, and re-glued by a professional. High-end patinated caning: The 6 seats have been completely redone in traditional hand-woven caning with 6 strands ("partridge eye"). To preserve the soul, history, and character of these period pieces, the rattan has received a finish of walnut husk and wax. This gives it a superb old patina, warm and avoiding the overly raw "modern white rattan" effect. Shade and finish: The wood has been cleaned and nourished to enhance its original luminous and contrasting patina. Double Stamp (Authenticity Guaranteed): The original period paper Thonet label. The official "THONET" logo burned directly into the wood with a hot iron. Dimensions: Total height: ~85 cm. Seat height: ~47 cm.
