Victorian flamed hardwood commode from the 19th century with a hidden drawer.

We are delighted to present this superb large 19th-century chest of drawers in light flamed mahogany with a hidden top drawer. A very aesthetic and functional piece, ideal for collectors. The drawers are approximately 40% larger than normal, really catch the eye, and fit perfectly into any decor. We have cleaned, waxed, and polished the chest of drawers from top to bottom; it is in good period usable condition, with a wood shrinkage crack on the top and two woods of different colours, otherwise in very good order. Wear consistent with age and use, slight structural damage and slight discolouration. Please note that vintage leather items naturally exhibit a patina with cracks, creases, and wear.
