19th century black forest carved old chair in solid wood

Beautiful children's musical chair dating from the mid-19th century - work of the black forest - from switzerland. Superb sculpture of the back decorated with acanthus leaves with a medallion in the center! Resting on 4 curved feet, themselves sculpted, decorated with acanthus leaves for the back feet and oak leaves and acorns for the front feet. The seat rises and incorporates a music movement consisting of 2 tunes (the music mechanism is missing). Old fragmented label and barely legible below the seat. Very rare piece!
