XL Kalmar Flush Mount with Crystal Glass Elements, Vienna Austria

This xl flush mount, designed and produced by luxury manufacturer j.t. Kalmar in the 1970s, is blending mid-century style with refined glamour. It’s in very good condition, with signs of wear consistent with age and use. The lamp has 13 bulbs and casts a beautiful light through elegant crystal glass elements. The lamp is signed with a sticker of the company. Kalmar is an austrian company, founded in vienna in 1881. In the beginning they produced chandeliers and cast bronze objects, but in the 1930s they exclusively produced high-quality lighting fixtures. And they still do. They have always had partnerships with influential organizations, such as the vienna secession and, more recently, the rms queen mary 2 in 2003.
