Two vintage ceramic plates, signed by the french ceramist daniel etienne, in vallauris. These two compartment plates or fondue plates are made of glossy glazed ceramic and feature daniel etienne's iconic décor: "les chardons". Very nice quality of realization and enamelling, in slight relief to the touch and pretty warm colors with shades of brown, highlighted with dark green and purple and pink for the flowers. Signature with the brush of daniel etienne's monogram: "de" on the back of the plates and mention "handmade". Twentieth century - 1970s. Diameter: 22.5 cm. Height: 2 cm. Weight of a plate: 580 g. Set weight: 1, 150 kg. Very nice condition of the whole: no shine, no crack. A plate is in perfect condition. The second has a very discreet friction of the enamel on an edge (photo with arrow), very little visible.
