Mirror enclosed in a round wooden frame carved with geometric motifs, known in West Africa as a sun mirror or Bwa mask. As its name suggests, these frames represent "light, joy, celebration, and wealth" and are used during agricultural festivals to celebrate the fertility of the land for a good harvest. This mirror is made by our local artisans in Ivory Coast. 70cm diameter piece in black and white. Carefully packaged and shipped from mainland France.
