Superb black glove box napoleon III in plated ebony from the second half of the nineteenth century. The box consists of a superb ebony veneer on which figure 3 successive contours with brass threads. The lid has a magnificent cartouche (medallion) depicting a vegetal decoration of leaves intertwined with small mother-of-pearl flowers. The latter is encrypted ab in its center. The interior has a beautiful rosewood veneer. Brass lock and hinges. Original key. Lock in working order. Superb box in precious wood, brass and mother-of-pearl in which you can store your most beautiful jewels or other treasures. This box is in very good condition. Open cabinet height of 12 cm (4.7 inches) 29 cm (11.4 inches) wide. 25 cm (9.8 inches) depth. Dimensions of the closed box.
