A rare ottoman designed by george mulhauser and manufactured by plycraft in the usa around 1960. The piece has a warm brown teak plywooden with metal base, holding a beautifully curved black skai (faux leather) upholstered top with tufted finish. All together this gives the piece an exceptionally luxurious appeal! A wonderful, high quality find of mid-century design and a much sought after piece. It can combine nicely with many different decor pieces, adding luxury and elegance to the interior! The piece remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear that is consistent with its age and use and preserves a beautiful patina.
