Sicilian cache pot, Stefania Boemi

Superb terracotta vase by sicilian artist stefania boemi dating from the 2010s. The sculptor was inspired by ancient sicilian legends of love and revenge between a moor and a young girl. Unique piece and entirely handmade in the pure sicilian tradition. This very large model represents a moor's head surrounded by prickly pears. Beautiful matte gray monochrome shade (ral 6022 olive brown) with natural pigments. A second vase also available to create a pair. Very fragile piece so hand delivered recommended. Beautiful condition. Height 42 cm, width 42 cm, depth 25 cm.
