Motobecane Advertising Poster by Roger Varenne - Format 159/118 CM

Advertising poster for the cady, a motobécane brand moped model. It is in very good condition (folded). Roger varenne is the artist. The cady is a moped model from the french brand motobécane. The cadys were equipped with a 49.9 cc engine. This machine is light (27 kg) and will be released in different colors: burgundy for the ml and the mip (foldable), an all-purpose color but rather austere, then with the arrival of the mipr: red, blue, white and topaz, intended for a teenage audience, it certainly takes its name from the supermarket “carts”. This very common model from 1965 was quickly adopted by the fairer sex thanks to its weight and its minimalist side. Customers will therefore be satisfied with this model and the sale of vélosolex will be particularly affected. It will be praised in advertising both on the small screen and in the youth press for its design, its practical and economical aspect. Released in the middle of the “thirty glorious years”, advertising will therefore be a strong point for this model, as it had been for its competitor, the vélosolex.
