Antique bonnetière (renovated)

Elegant antique bonnetière dating from the late 19th century, made of solid cherry wood. Its slender silhouette and delicate carved decorations make it a very lovely piece of regional French furniture. Materials: made of solid cherry wood, this bonnetière features a beautiful warm and natural hue. It has retained its original fittings as well as its lock, which is fully functional. Features: the bonnetière opens with a large door composed of three moulded panels, the central panel adorned with a delicate carved motif. Carved floral decorations also highlight the upper rail and the shaped apron. Its narrow width and beautiful height provide generous storage space while taking up little floor space. The five shelves are fixed in height. The door locks. Renovation: the bonnetière has been completely sanded on the outside to restore the natural colour of the wood. It has then been carefully washed. We chose to keep it in raw wood, without finish, to preserve its light and authentic appearance. Dimensions: L79 X D45.5 X H220. Interior: L65 X D35 X H190. An antique bonnetière full of charm, whose slender proportions, natural wood, and carved decorations will add a lot of character to a bedroom, hallway, or living room.
