Catalan wedding chest from the 17th or early 18th century, in walnut. Restored.

This chest has been fully restored recently. Its surface has been carefully cleaned, consolidated, and then finished with a protective undercoat for the wood and beeswax. This piece of furniture has undergone numerous restorations and reconstructions throughout its history; it is difficult to determine the extent to which it has been rebuilt or restored compared to the original.
