Decorative plate in glazed earthenware made in the 1950s by Jean Lurçat (1892–1966), a major French artist known for his tapestries, ceramics, and graphic works. This piece was produced by the Sant Vicens workshop, located in Perpignan, with which the artist closely collaborated. The plate features a stylised lobster, a particularly decorative and sought-after marine motif in the world of Jean Lurçat. The emerald green enamel work creates stunning shades reminiscent of the sea and perfectly highlights the black graphic design. Authentic signature on the back. Marked "J. Lurçat, Sant Vicens, 10 W".
