The "water lilies" of Lichtenstein are a group of six works that form a series to pay tribute to the paintings of water lilies by the impressionist artist Claude Monet. These innovative works were made on stainless steel to appear as reflected as water. Lichtenstein had a long-standing fascination with reflections that he explored as a motif in many other engravings and paintings. We are here on a lithographic reproduction.
