Teak and cane queen size bed by Hans Wegner, Getama, 1960s

Queen-sized bed model ge 701, designed by hans wegner in the 1960s, produced by renowned danish manufacture - getama, which wegner has cooperated with for a very long time. The manufacturer's stamp is very well preserved! The headboard is made of woven cane and features two floating side tables on each side of the bed with removable black glass shelves. This vintage bed shows a mastery of danish mid-century carpentry. Solid wood structure with teak veneer provides stability and a warm impression. Beautifully finished footboard in black vinyl leatherette, that was a super hi-tech invention in those days, gives an elegant and stylish touch. Despite its age, it is still in great vintage condition with minor signs of age, very sturdy and stable. Dimensions of mattress: d: 193 / w: 150 cm. The mattress is not part of the offer.
