Pair of oak panels, Renaissance period, sixteenth century

Set of two oak panels of the sixteenth century, one representing a character accompanied by a dog, the other a character in flames, probably saints. These panels probably come from a chest or a piece of furniture from the renaissance period, it was customary when the furniture was too damaged to dismantle the carved panels in order to reuse them on other furniture or for decoration. France 15th century.
