Extendable dining table

Very pretty table whose lines recall the scandinavian style, with tapered legs enhanced by a metal tip. The varnished top, very shiny, has a very beautiful veneer whose pattern is created by the sense of the veining of the wood (mahogany perhaps but without certainty) underlined by black lines. It has two extensions with the same veneer, inserted on each side under the top, which once pulled make it a very large family table. The extension cords are equipped with handles under them to facilitate their exit. It has a label "ameublement nf" under an extension cord. It seemed to me to date from the 70s but some sources would rather date it from the 50s. It is in good structural condition, solid, stable, but obviously has signs of its age: the feet have various and numerous marks, scratches and indentations, due I imagine to repeated "blows" of chairs. The metal tips of the feet have the patina of time, a little oxidation. The veneer on the tray is in good condition, few scratches or traces and if there are any, they are not very visible but it has three small gaps on the vertical perimeter (the edge) which have been filled in a rough way but if you do not look too closely, it is not obvious (and it can undoubtedly be restored cleanly by a craftsman, and this table deserves it I think). I also found the trace of a repair under the frame of the base, a crack that was repaired by the installation of a screw. The extensions have marks and scratches on the horizontal and vertical veneer. This table measures 88 cm wide for a height of 75 cm and a length (excluding extensions) of 160cm. Once the extensions are drawn, it measures 240 cm in length and its height decreases by the thickness of the extensions, I.e. 2 cm. It weighs relatively heavy, I would say between 20 and 30 kg.
